Senjojiki Cirque(Komagane City, Nagano Prefecture) The Senjojiki Cirque formed during the glacial period 20,000 years ago offers amazing scenic beauty, from alpine flora in summer to blazing red leaves in autumn.

Mt. Myoko (Myoko City, Niigata Prefecture) Mt. Myoko and the adjacent highlands are popular year-round tourist attractions, featuring hiking trails, ski resorts, and hot springs.	Ikaho Hot Spring(Shibukawa City, Gunma Prefecture) One of the most popular hot spring resorts in Japan, Ikaho is also common held to increase the possibility of motherhood. The grand row of stone steps through the center of the town creates a unique mood.

Okutadamigo(Uonuma City, Niigata Prefecture) Lake Okutadami and Mt. Asakusa make up part of an expansive quasi-national park. Rice Terraces(Tokamachi City, Joetsu City, Kashiwazaki City, Niigata Prefecture) Rice terraces located on gentle mountain slopes make up part of Niigata's beautiful countryside. There are many sightseeing courses that offer visitors the opportunity to experience rural life.

Tomihiro Museum of Poetry and Illustration(Midori City, Gunma Prefecture) The Tomihiro Museum features a collection of poetry and illustrations by Tomihiro Hishino, an artist who lost the freedom in his legs due to an unfortunate accident. The watercolor pieces exude gentleness and speak of the preciousness of life.	Mt. Tanigawa and Ichinokurasawa(Minakami Town, Gunma Prefecture) The major peak in the Tanigawa Mountains located within Joshinetsu Kogen National Park. Ichinokurasawa, the eastern face of the mountain, is one of the best and most famous climbs in Japan. Visitors can easily reach the peak, however, by riding the ropeway.	Mt. Akagi(Fujimi Village, Gunma Prefecture) One of the most famous mountains in Gunma, Mt. Akagi features beautiful highland moors and a lake on the summit. It is a popular resort all year round in which visitors can enjoy Japanese azaleas in summer, the stark and colorful leaves of autumn, and fishing for wakasagi in winter.

Artenade(Shibukawa City, Gunma Prefecture) The road connecting Shibukawa City, which features art galleries and museum, and the Ikaho Hot Spring is known as Artenade, a name that combines the words art and promenade. There are many sites of artistic and historical interest along this road.	Oigami Hot Spring(Numata City, Gunma Prefecture) Located along the Katashina river, the Oigami Hot Spring is steeped in history. This resort is often used as a gateway to Oze and Nikko by tourists. A morning market, known as Asaichi, is held every day from spring to autumn.	Komagane Kogen Art Museum(Komagane City, Nagano Prefecture) The Komagane Kogen Art Museum's collection features contemporary artists such as Masuo Ikeda, Shinya Fujiwara, and Tatoi Kusama.

Karuizawa Highland(Kuruizawa Town, Nagano Prefecture) The oldest international resort in Japan, Karuizawa was actually discovered by a foreign missionary. The area contains the old Mikasa Hotel, a designated Important Cultural Asset, as well as many other museums and historical centers.	Saku Municipal Museum of Modern Art(Saku City, Nagano Prefecture) The Saku Museum of Modern Art's collection contains more than 2,300 works, including Japanese and western-style paintings, sculptures and other fine hand crafted pieces, and works of calligraphy.	Cosmos Road(Saku City, Nagano Prefecture) A Magnificent display of cosmos flowers has been planted along an approximately 9 km stretch of Route 254 in the Myogi Arafune Sakukogen Quasi-National Park.

Castle Towns:Komoro Joshi (Kaikoen) and Ueda Joseki(Ueda City and Komoro City, Nagano Prefecture) There is so much to see along the historical Hokoku Kaido highroad. Visitors will find rows of houses featuring traditional latticework and other unique architectural features reminiscent of the Edo period, as well as old temples and castles.
